DeSoto students participate in a variety of co-educational inter-scholastic athletics.  As a member of the MAIS, District 1-A, students may participate in a variety of activities including football, basketball, track and field, cross country, cheerleading, baseball, softball, golf and tennis.

DeSoto has an excellent reputation throughout the MAIS for having a quality all-round athletics program with many championship trophies on display the gym lobby. 

The DeSoto pee-wee athletic program starts training students early to learn the proper fundamentals of football and basketball.
